Description
Samsung has achieved a significant milestone in 5G Core user plane performance by exceeding 1 Tbps throughput with their latest software running on Intel reference servers with 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel Ethernet Network Adapters. This achievement was made possible through a collaboration with Intel on performance and latency optimizations of Samsung 5G Core. The successful test of UPF throughput demonstrates Samsung's capability to meet the increasing traffic demands of diverse subscribers and industries.
