  • Simulation
  • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT

    Critical Issue

    Description

If you run an abstract PHY simulation with a reset duration of less than 100ns on global_reset_n, the simulation may hang and fail to complete. This problem is independant of the targeted external memory protocol, the particular IP configuration, or the simulator in use.

    Resolution

The workaround for this problem is to reduce the reset duration to less than 100ns.

This problem is fixed in version 15.1.1.
