PMA settings for ALTGX megafunctions must be updated for the Arria II GX family and the CPRI protocol

PMA settings for ALTGX megafunctions that use a Deterministic Latency protocol and an Effective Data Rate greater than 5 Gbps must be updated to conform to specifications for the Arria II GX family and the CPRI protocol.

To update the ALTGX megafunction, on the Tx Analog page of the Parameter Settings tab of the ALTGX MegaWizard Plug-In Manager, select 150 Ohms in the Select the Transmitter termination resistance box. You must select the 150 Ohms value even if the box is already set to this value.Selecting 150 Ohms updates the following PMA settings:

• changes vod_selection to 7
• changes premp_tab_1 to 23
• changes slew_rate to low
• changes termination to OCT 150 Ohms.
