When is Skip calibration mode supported in DDR3 SDRAM High Performance Controller?

Environment

  • Simulation
  • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
    Description

Skip calibration mode is supported only for CAS Latency (CL) = 6, CAS Write Latency (CWL) = 5 for frequencies up to 400MHz and for CL=7 and CWL=6 for frequencies between 401MHz to 533MHz. Other CL and CWL, frequency combinations are not supported in Skip calibration mode. it is necessary to generate a quick calibration mode or full calibration mode model in the Megawizard in instances where the frequency is less than 400MHz.
