The fitter algorithm of the Quartus® II software version 10.1 and 10.0 places the resynchronization registers in the core logic instead of the dedicated I/O element in the periphery in Arria® II GX device, causing possible intermittent data corruption on the last word in a burst. There will be no timing violations in the design since Postamble Analysis is not reported by Quartus II software static timing analysis.
This issue will be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software. For Quartus II version 10.1 and 10.0 SP1, the workaround is to install the Quartus II software patch and recompile your design.
