Why does my Arria 10 design fail after partially reconfiguring a persona?

Environment

    Description

    Due to a problem in the the Quartus® Prime software version 15.1 Update 1 and earlier, your Arria® 10 design may fail after a partial reconfiguration operation.

    This problem occurs in the generation of the partial reconfiguration bitstream and may be seen as incorrect functional behavior.

    Resolution

    To work around this problem, download and install patch 1.01 for the Quartus Prime software version 15.1 Update 1 from the links below. You must install the Quartus Prime software version 15.1 Update 1 before installing the patch.

    After installing the patch, recompile your design to regenerate the partial reconfiguration bitstreams for your Arria 10 design.

    This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus Prime software.
