    Description

    You will receive this error message if you place 3.3V inputs into an I/O bank that is powered by 2.5V when targeting a Stratix® V device, in the Quartus® II software version 11.1 SP1 and earlier.

    Resolution

    To fix this issue for the Quartus II software version 11.1 SP1, download patch 1.10:

    This is fixed in the Quartus II software version 11.1 SP2.
