In order to determine if there are any specific trade agreements in place, such as TAA (Trade Agreements Act), based on applicable custom regulations, send an email to COO-Customs-Request@Intel.com with the following information:
- Detailed request
- Intel product identifying information: Name/Model/Part Number
- Country where Requestor is located
- Country where Product was or will be imported if different from above
- Approximate date of purchase
Background on the US Trade Agreements Act (TAA):
TAA refers to the Trade Agreements Act (19 U.S.C. & 2501-2581), which is intended to foster fair and open international trade.
The TAA contains a list of products and requires that the U.S. Government acquire those products only if they are “Made or substantially transformed in the U.S. or a TAA designated country".
