Resolution
  1. Swap the power supplies between them.  Make sure each slides in correctly into the Power Supply cage.
  2. Access the BIOS and proceed as follows:
    1. Go to Advance --> System Acoustics and Performance Configuration ---> Fan Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Offset; make sure this value is set to 0.
    2. On System Acoustics and Performance Configuration, change Acoustic as a priority instead of Performance.
  3. Update the Field Replaceable Unit and Sensor Data Record (FRUSDR), Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), and BIOS to the latest version available for the board.
  4. Clear the Complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) using the jumper.  See steps below.

How to clear CMOS using the jumper:

  1. Power down the server and unplug the power cords.
  2. Open the chassis and remove the Riser #2 assembly.
  3. Move BIOS Default (DFLT) jumper from the default (Pins 1 and 2) position to the Set BIOS Defaults Position (Pins 2 and 3).
  4. Wait 5 seconds, then move the jumper back to the Default Position of Pins 1 and 2.&
  5. Install the riser card assembly.
  6. Install Power Cords.
  7. Power on system.
