Click or the topic for details:

Why has Intel not provided Windows® 10 drivers for Intel® GMA 36xx series?

Intel Atom® Processor-based entry-level laptop and desktop PCs support Windows 7. Windows 10 is not supported on this platform but is supported on newer Intel® platforms.

Why has Intel not provided Windows 8/8.1 drivers for Intel® GMA 36xx series?

Intel Atom Processor-based entry-level laptop and entry-level desktop PCs support Windows 7. Windows 8.1/8 is not supported on this platform but is supported on newer Intel® platforms.

Intel Atom Processors use the same graphics technology (PowerVR SGX545). If the Intel Atom Processor Z2760 supports Windows 8, why don't other Intel Atom Processors (formerly code named Cedar Trail) support the OS?

Can Intel release the driver source code so that I can create my own drivers?

We do not release driver source code for Windows* drivers.

Why hasn't Intel provided a modified Windows 7 driver with further performance improvements?

On December 11, 2013, we released an updated driver with Google* Earth-related fixes. Make sure to use the latest available drivers. We discontinued active driver production for this product, and there will not be any regular driver releases in the future.

Will PCs with the Intel Atom Processor N2000 and D2000 Series run Windows 8 or 8.1?

PCs with the Intel Atom Processor N2000 and D2000 Series (formerly codenamed Cedar Trail) do not support Windows 8 or 8.1. Intel doesn't offer extra support for these products.

Intel offers the Intel® Celeron® Processors with Intel® HD Graphics. These processors are optimized for entry-level devices and support Windows 8 and 8.1
