It seems like 2-in-1 hybrids are more like two-a-penny hybrids at the moment – we reviewed both the Dell XPS 12 and HP Spectre x2 last month – but the Galaxy TabPro S offers something different. First, this 12in 2-in-1 includes a 2,160 x 1,440 Super AMOLE...

With an aluminium-alloy frame running around the outside edge and a body that's just 6.4mm thick, this Windows 10 device is thinner than most flagship smartphones. Weighing just 690g at its 12-inch size, it's reasonably comfortable to hold one-handed — t...

  • Another day, another Windows 10 hybrid tablet. But this one is notable for two reasons: it's coming from Samsung, which isn't known for its Windows machines, and Samsung has designed this device to be far more tablet than most hybrids on the market. It sho...

  • Samsung's Galaxy TabPro S (GTS) is one of the first serious contenders in the Windows 10, two-in-one, hybrid, detachable tablet space, until now the domain of Microsoft's Surface range. But after nearly a month of use I have to say that on the surface I am...

The Microsoft Surface was revolutionary when it first debuted four years ago. The idea of a wrap-around keyboard case on a tablet that ran Windows meant that – in theory at least – you could forgo the laptop for a lighter, much more portable device. If...

Good: Thin and light design, impressive performance, excellent display, comes with keyboard cover

Bad: No regular USB port, no memory card slot, keyboard cover not always responsive

Samsung is already a dominant force in Android smartphones and Android tablets and it has just set its sights on reaching the top in the Windows 10 tablet category with the Galaxy TabPro S.The 12-inch device has been released at a time when customers are...

Good: Wonderfully thin and light, One of the best looking tablet displays out there, Keyboard included with the tablet, complete with a magnetic case and trackpad, Supports USB Type C, Samsung Flow offers Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users more reason to use this tabl...

Bad: Storage is set to a piddling 128GB, and you only get 86GB of that, No microSD expandable storage, Keyboards lacks backlighting, making it harder to use in low light environments, Only one USB port, and it's the Type C charge port, Samsung Flow (and its bi...

Samsung is returning to computers, well, sort of. Fresh off the back of new and successful smartphones in the S7 range, the company responsible for the “Galaxy” range of devices is returning to Windows for a notebook on a diet. It's been a while since we'v...

Good: Samsung wisely includes a keyboard cover in the box. Battery life is excellent, and the AMOLED display is better than the screens in much more expensive systems.

Bad: The single configuration is stuck with a sluggish Core M processor, and the keyboard cover allows only two screen angles, neither of which may be right for you

Samsung's latest PC takes the name of its Galaxy line of Android phones and tablets, despite running the Windows 10 operating system. The Galaxy TabPro S is a new tilt at one of the most persistent windmills in technology -- crafting the perfect Windows t...

  • Tablets that are just tablets? How very 2015. Following in the well-trodden footsteps of Microsoft's Surface range, Samsung unleashed its own spin on the 2-in-1 Windows 10 detachable at CES 2016 - and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S looks to be a serious con...

  • Good: Sleek design, Good use of Windows 10

Bad: Poor keyboard, Plastic design, Cramped mouse

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is a tablet I wasn't expecting to see at CES 2016, even after I was told it existed. The Galaxy name (usually reserved for Android devices) meant I was surprised when it appeared with Windows 10.But before we get onto the ope...

2 Conflict-Free Intel Processor

“Conflict free” and “conflict-free” means “DRC conflict free”, which is defined by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission rules to mean products that do not contain conflict minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten and/or gold) that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries. Intel also uses the term "conflict-free" in a broader sense to refer to suppliers, supply chains, smelters and refiners whose sources of conflict minerals do not finance conflict in the DRC or adjoining countries. Intel processors manufactured before January 1, 2013 are not confirmed conflict free. The conflict free designation refers only to product manufactured after that date. For Intel Boxed Processors, the conflict free designation refers to the processor only, not to any additional included accessories, such as heatsinks/coolers.
